Synopsis: A second rate film crew is shooting the third in a trilogy of tasteless (yet cheesy) horror flicks called Fright Flick. The schmuck-of-a-director can't keep his hands off the lead actress, the producer never gets his due credit, the supporting actress knows that SHE should be the lead and the crew has their own secrets. Competition in the movie business is tough enough-but anyone on this set would kill to be on top.

The story of Fright Flick was created by Todd Jenkins and Israel Luna. They got the idea after working on several independent films and thought it would be fun to take the drama that sometimes happens on set to the extreme. Movie Mafia Productions was on set and got some incredible production stills along with some great behind the scenes footage and interviews. The  photos have appeared in numerous magazines and websites including Fangoria. To view some of the stills go to the photography page.

Project Status: Fright Flick is currently seeking distribution and has screened at several film festivals around the country including the Chicago Horror Film Festival and New York International Latino Film Festival.

Synopsis: A group of transgender women are violently beaten by three men and left for dead. After regaining their consciousness, the violated vixens turn deadly divas. With their newfound confidence and courage, the ticked-off trannies slice their way to vengeance.

This film is a homage to the exploitation/revenge films of the 70’s and 80’s, "Ticked-Off Trannies With Knives" is loaded with titillating dialog, buckets of blood…and extreme violence.

We had a ton of fun working on this project with the cast and crew. This movie is a grindhouse film  full of comedy, action, and  crazy violence.  This was our third time to work with La Luna Entertainment and we can't wait to see what happens when this movie comes out.  We got to do several jobs on this one including working as a camera operator, assistant camera, still photographer, behind the scenes camera, shooting interviews, and boom operator.  Todd Jenkins also directed two of the special features that will appear on the DVD release the "Nacho and Chuey Show" and "The Making of Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives".

Project Status: Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives had its world premier at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2010 and has continued to screen at numerous festivals all over the country including the "Seattle International Film Festival "and "Another Hole in the Head" in San Francisco.  The film has now been picked up for distribution by Breaking Glass Pictures and will start its Theatrical run beginning October 1, 2010 followed by the DVD release  on November 9, 2010.
